Using AI allowed Mindvalley to significantly reduce turnaround times and localize more content at a fraction of the cost compared to traditional dubbing. While human dubbing still plays a crucial role for high-emotion content such as meditation and mindfulness lessons, AI dubbing has become an essential part of the company’s localization strategy for more scalable content.
Since adopting Papercup’s AI dubbing solution, Mindvalley has more than doubled the content it localizes annually, allowing the company to better serve its non-English speaking users. The first pilot project in Spanish in 2021 exceeded expectations, with student ratings for dubbed content surpassing those of the original English versions. Additionally, the reduced production times and costs have enabled Mindvalley to explore new markets while maintaining its high standards of content quality.
